Welcome to the offical website for close-up magician John Gelasi, currently performing professionally in Northern Illinois!
John Gelasi has been performing magic since he was given his first magic kit at the age of six years old.
John currently resides in his hometown, where he spends his summers performing for audiences all over northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. If you find yourself in one of John's classes at his high school, you'll likely see him nearby with a pack of cards, surrounded by a crowd of stunned spectators.
John's performances of various effects have been featured on personal websites and newsletters by such magicians as Cameron Francis and Paul Gordon.
John's major influences in magic have been Cameron Francis, Peter Duffie, Aldo Colombini, Paul Hallas, Paul Gordon, and Dave Forrest (to name a few!).
